The script’s immense poignancy is channelled through Ben Stiller’s protagonist Josh Schrebnick who, with wife Cornelia (Naomi Watts) is easily seduced by a charming hipster couple played by Amanda Seyfried and a superb Adam Driver. Devastatingly relatable, While We’re Young perfectly captures that moment in our lives when we realise we will always be defined by our age.
